Frustration Signals

Rage clicks, dead clicks, quick-backs and JS errors

Signals are detected automatically on every session, counted on the dashboard and shown on each visit, so frustrated sessions are one filter away.

✓

Rage clicks: four or more rapid clicks in the same spot

✓

Dead clicks: clicks the page did not react to

✓

Quick-backs: pages left within seconds

✓

Sort sessions by most frustrated and open the replay

Heatmaps

Click and scroll heatmaps for any page

Heatmaps are built from the visits you already recorded, so there is nothing to set up per page. Pick a page and a device and see where people click and how far they scroll.

✓

Click / tap and scroll maps

✓

Desktop, tablet and phone views

✓

Most clicked elements listed with their click counts

JavaScript Errors

Errors next to the visit they broke

JavaScript errors are captured with the session, with message, source file and line, so you can watch what the visitor did right before it failed.

✓

Error message, source and line on the session

✓

Filter sessions that had JS errors

✓

Errors count as friction in Revenue Leaks

Revenue Leaks

Put a price on every drop-off

Choose e-commerce, SaaS or lead generation, pick goals from clicks and page views seen on your site, and give each a value. VisitorLab shows the value produced and the value lost where visitors gave up.

✓

Goals suggested from your last 7 days of clicks and pages, or picked from a page's most clicked elements

✓

Terminal or cumulative value: count the deepest step or every step

✓

Lost value by funnel step, page, traffic source and device, plus the share lost with friction

✓

Lost and converted sessions side by side with replay links; change a value and history re-prices

Included in every plan. Goals per project depend on the plan.

AI Visibility

How ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude talk about you

VisitorLab runs the questions your customers ask on four AI assistants with web search on, then measures whether your brand is mentioned, which of your pages are cited and where you rank against competitors.

✓

Visibility score per assistant and over time

✓

Brand mention and citation share against your competitors

✓

Prompts generated from your site; gaps where competitors win

✓

AI crawler check: robots.txt, llms.txt, sitemap and live fetches as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and more

On paid plans. Runs use AI credits included in your plan.

AI Session Tags

Every visit labelled and summed up

VisitorLab tags each visit about 30 minutes after it ends. Rule tags come from what was measured; AI reads the most telling sessions, those with friction or conversions first, and adds intent, outcome, friction and a one-line summary.

✓

Intent (product research, price research, purchase, support…), outcome (completed, abandoned, informed…) and friction (form trouble, stuck at checkout, lost in navigation…)

✓

Free rule tags on every session: bounce, rage click, dead clicks, JS error, quick back, converted, long session, bot suspect

✓

Filter the session list by tags; see the tag breakdown on the dashboard

✓

Correct tags and the AI learns from your corrections; switch off tags that are normal on your site; add up to 10 project tags

✓

Emails, phone numbers and long numbers are masked before anything reaches the AI

On every plan. AI tags use credits (one per 10 sessions) up to a daily limit set by your plan; tag past days on demand.
